unity - Completed on 9/9/13

As with life, I've combined unlikely styles and people into a balanced work of art. Each facet co-exists with one another.

My piece, titled 'Unity', displays a simple approach to a complicated issue. 'Why can't we all get along?' Sure we all have a difference of opinion and views, it's to be expected. However, accepting our neighbors for their differences is written in the good books, no? Must we always 'win' and prove we are correct.

Inspired by the 'Rococo style' ornaments from Mauro Poggi, combining with graffiti inspirations from Meres (5ptz.com), Andrew Berardi, and Nover Gwb. The names intertwined with the 'vines' represents some that have inspired me and challenged my opinions. Lastly, the translation of 'unity' into Hebrew and Arabic proves we all have the same dictionary, just a different pronunciation.

Support the balance as much as the counterbalance,
Find the harmony amongst dissonance,
The solution exists in the problem
It's nice to be important, but important to be nice.
